PECBMS network met at the scheme´s first webinar

On 30 March the first PECBMS webinar took place. Over 30 participants joined the event dedicated to the RTRIM shell. We discussed the data preparation, most common errors and how to use the Online tool. We also introduced a new forum in Slack to share experience within the whole network.

We are happy that 35 national bird monitoring coordinators and their colleagues joined the webinar. After a short introduction we presented several presentations:

RTRIM-shell output preparation for On-line tool (Eva Šilarová)
Online tool – from data upload to data validation (Eva Šilarová)
PECBMS Forum (Alena Klvaňová)
After a short break, the discussion followed.

For a long time, we were thinking about a kind of platform to share our experience within the whole network, to let anyone ask questions and look for answers, discuss problems. Finally, we have chosen the Slack application to set up a forum. You can visit it here: pecbms.slack.com
